I am a retired Physician Assistant. I graduated with the second class of PAs at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. During my 40 year career I worked in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice in rural Alabama, the Federal Prison system providing healthcare to the inmates, Organ Procurement with the University of Florida Organ Transplant program. My last 15 years were spent in urgent care walk in clinics, with a brief foray into gastroenterology for one year. With this blog I hope to encourage people to take much of their health and wellness into their own hands by living helthy lifestyles.
